Join us for a Wild Friends Storytime the 1st Saturday of each month! Each session, we will have a native animal themed story, craft, nature walk, and will feed the birds!
he South Texas Ecotourism Center will have its “Christmas at the STEC” festival on Thursday, December 8th from 6 – 9 pm. We will have food and craft booths, school performances at the Amphitheater, Santa and a Kids Corner. The Friends will have a booth and will be doing a Christmas-themed craft.
Join us for Homeschool Science Series. During this series, we will learn about invasive species on the Refuge, their impacts, and management techniques. This workshop will also have a demonstration on how to field dress a wild hog. Note: This workshop is designed for older or more mature youth!
