Friends Science Series- CORE Program -Family Fish Camp Instructional Workshop

This will be part 1 of a two part series for learning to fish. This course will consist of six hands-on stations to teach about fishing. Stations include: fish ID and habitat, rods and reels, tacklebox basics, casting, rules and regulations, and knots, lines, and hooks.

This course will be a requirement for the July Family Fish Camp, which will be held at the Bahia Grande Unit of the Refuge. During the Family Fish Camp, participants will fish at the Bahia Grande. There will also be a filet and cooking demonstration.
