CANCELLED!!! Friends Science Series: Family Fish Camp

THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED!

We are sorry to report that we will have to cancel the Family Fish Camp scheduled for this Saturday! The recent rains have left the area too muddy and the US Fish and Wildlife Staff was unable to mow and prepare the area for the event. We will reschedule as soon as we can. We are sorry for this inconvenience.

The Family Fish Camp will teach youth all about fishing through hands-on stations about fishing knots, rules and regulations, fish identification and habitat, tacklebox basics, and casting. After the lessons, students will fish at the Bahia Grande. Please note: this is a youth event only. 

We are meeting at the Hwy 48 entrance, not on the VC. See directions below.

This will be a catch and release event.
