Join the Friends for our free Friends Science Series: Creatures of the Night Campout! During this series, we will learn about refuge wildlife and habitats through nature exploration, hands-on science lessons, and art. For this month, we are doing an overnight camping trip at Adolf Thomae County Park, located in Arroyo City. This park is actually owned by the Refuge, but managed by Cameron County. During this campout, we will explore creatures of the night through a night hike and other activities. We have reserved five campsites for this event, but participants will need to bring their own camping gear. Each site has water and electric and there is a bathroom house on site.
Session: CAMPOUT
Note: Each participant will need to bring their own camping gear.
