Friends of Laguna Atascosa NWR Store Volunteer Position Description

Thank you for expressing interest in volunteering at Nature's Nook! We appreciate your willingness to contribute to our mission.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

Training will be provided, and we encourage volunteers to participate in various tasks beyond cashier/sales. These may include cleaning, folding, and other routine duties as needed.

Retail experience is a plus, and bilingual skills are highly valued.

I have attached a sample of the Volunteer agreement for your review. We will fill one out at your interview.

Volunteer Commitment:

Minimum commitment: Half a day per week (5 Hours)
Optimal commitment: Full day (7:30 AM to 3:30 PM)

Days Needed:

Volunteer shifts are available from Sunday to Saturday. Starting in September, your schedule will align with the business needs. Your actual shifts will be mutually agreed upon.

Nature's Nook is nestled in the Laguna Atascosa NWR Visitor Center
