Please join us for a day of cleaning trash at Moranco Blanco Trail, off Steve Thompson Wildlife Drive.

Arrival time: 8:50am – 9:10am, no additional participants will be accepted after 9:10
Departure time: 11:45 am – 12:00 pm
Expected participants: 60

This is not your everyday beach cleanup, show the earth some extra love on Earth Day by helping to clean up the Laguna Atascosa NWR and the waters of the Laguna Madre!
  • Please bring refillable water containers, as well as work gloves.
  • Prepare for up to 2 miles of walking on sandy, uneven, wet terrain.
  • Carrying heavy supplies over soft sand is required.
  • Closed-toed footwear and long pants and shirts are highly recommended.
  • Trash bags and water will be provided.

This area is extremely difficult to get to if we have had recent rains. Please keep an eye out for bad weather as this may result in clean up being postponed.
