NPLD Clean up at Laguna Atascosa NWR

Please join us for a day of cleaning trash from the Laguna Madre, off Steve Thompson Wildlife Drive.

Volunteers should arrive at 9:00 am at the STWD entrance off FM. 106 just east of Buena Vista Blvd.

We will be leaving promptly at 9:15 am to the clean-up site;
No additional participants will be accepted after 9:15 am; we apologize for any inconvenience.
Please bring refillable water containers, as well as work gloves.
Prepare for up to 2 miles of walking on sandy, uneven, wet terrain.
Carrying heavy supplies over soft sand is required.
Closed-toed footwear and long pants and shirts are highly recommended.
Trash bags and water will be provided.
